Culinary Sightseeing Tour

Overview

A short walk brings us to our first stop at the world-famous boat dock in Iseltwald, looking out across the beautiful Lake Brienz. We’ll provide the entrance fee coin, which you’ll find in your tour booklet.

After travelling by bus along the shores of Lake Thun, we arrive at the 340-metre-long Sigriswil Panorama Bridge, which connects Sigriswil and Aeschlen and stands 182 metres above ground. Entry to the bridge is included in the tour package.

Not far from the bridge, stop for a coffee and a croissant in the epic garden of St. Beatus before taking a drive along Lake Brienz to Brunngasse, voted one of the most beautiful streets in the world by Architectural Digest magazine.

Now, for the main culinary event and a well-deserved meal! CHALET CHIARA Hofstetten-Ballenberg will treat you to a traditional Swiss raclette, which is included in the tour package along with table water. Other drinks are available for purchase.

Refuelled, we continue to the Giessbach Falls and the awesome spectacle as the waters of the Giessbach drop into turquoise-blue Lake Brienz. Wherever you are on the walking trail that starts at the historic Grandhotel Giessbach you’ll always be able to hear the thunder of the falls.

Schwanden, near Brienz, is our next stop and provides the perfect backdrop for memorable photos. We round off the day with a tasting of Swiss chocolate delicacies before taking you back to your starting point.
